Dr Rumana Reza is a committed GP with 13 years fully qualified experience, alongside a successful history of providing wide-ranging patient care in Australian GP settings. She has gained expertise in all aspects of general practice with special interest in Paediatrics, Women’s Health, Geriatrics, Mental health and Chronic Disease management. She also has long experience in managing elderly patients of aged care and nursing home facilities in Australia. Language proficiency also allows her to cater to a large number of patients including those with a culturally and linguistically diverse background.
Dr Rumana graduated from Dhaka Medical College, the most reputed and prestigious college in Bangladesh, in 1999. She obtained her fellowship of Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) in 2016. She also completed a Diploma in Child Health from the Sydney Child Health Programme and worked as a GP supervisor for MD students from the University of Melbourne.
Before moving to Australia, Dr Rumana has worked at the largest children hospital in Bangladesh (Dhaka Children Hospital) for six years and obtained overseas post graduate degrees including MCPS and DCH in Paediatrics. She is empathetic and professional; and committed to providing patients with the best care possible.
Dr Maryam obtained her medical degree from Shahid Beheshti University of Tehran in 2008 and has been practicing as a GP since then.
She completed her post graduate training and fellowship of RACGP in 2016.
She is an accredited Skin cancer doctor.
Dr Maryam enjoys all aspects of general practice with special interest in dermatology, Skin cancer, Women’s health, Paediatrics, chronic disease management and mental health.
She speaks English and Farsi.
Dr. Hillmunnisa Iqbal has over 10 years of experience as a general practitioner in Melbourne. She is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and has developed a special interest in women’s and children’s health, aged care, chronic disease management, and preventative healthcare. In addition to English, Dr. Iqbal is also fluent in Tamil and Sinhalese, with a limited working proficiency in Urdu.
Dr. Golnar Azizi, a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner (GP) with over 15 years of experience in the medical field. She pursued medical education in Iran, where she obtained her Medical Degree, and have since been devoted to delivering comprehensive healthcare to individuals of all ages.
She has strong interest in chronic disease care, conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and heart disease, as well as women and men health , paediatric ,preventive screenings and mental health.
On a linguistic note, she is fluent in Persian, ensuring seamless communication for Persian-speaking patients who seek medical care and advice.
Dr Shammi Akther is a passionate general practioner graduated from Bangladesh in 2008.
After few years of practising in Bangladesh she moved to Australia and has been practising since 2014 and worked different GPclinic/emergency in Victoria including Melton, Horsham and Echuca.
She is currently a fellow o Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. She has special interest in women’s health, Children health and chronic disease management.
She is a family-oriented person. Besides her work she loves to spend time with her two young girls and husband.
She speaks English and Bangla, Understand Hindi/Urdu
Dr Munir obtained her medical degree from Khyber Medical University Peshawar Pakistan in 2010 and has been practising as a GP since then.
She attained her fellowship in general practice from Royal Australian College of General Practitioners ( RACGP) in 2017.
Dr Munir takes keen interest in all areas in general practice with special interest in Perinatal care, women and children health,Immunisations, preventive medicine, chronic disease management, and mental health.
She can communicate in English,urdu,Hindi, and Pushto.
Dr Ahmed obtained his medical degree from Khyber Medical University Peshawar Pakistan in 2009 and has been practising as a GP since then.
He attained his fellowship in general practice from Royal Australian College of General Practitioners ( RACGP) in 2017.
Dr Ahmed takes keen interest in all areas in general practice with special interest in dermatology, women and children health,Immunisations, preventive medicine, chronic disease management, men’s health, and mental health.
He can communicate in English,urdu,Hindi, and Punjabi.
